50 years ago you had to have a tv studio and people to broadcast a tv show live to an audience across the country or across the world. You needed satellite dishes as well as tv towers. People used to laugh when on the tv show Dick Tracey the main charicter would speak into his watch and it would communicate back with another person at the end. Games consoles used to be limited to no internet access and now since the Sega Dreamcast and Playstation 2 they are online ready and allow you to communicate to people across the world. We have mobile phone watches and watches that can be used as a form of payment. Mobile phones can also live stream - broadcast your own tv show live to an audience across the entire world. We have online storage and streaming of games instead of the reliance on physical media like we did way back during the tapes and video casette,cd,dvd days. Supermarkets very recently implemented self service checkouts and smart shop handsets. We also have now got wireless tvs that have a built in battery that can be recharged. Technology has advanced so fast and in the year 2024 and beyond we will see many futher advancements as new technologies become available we will see changes to society that we thought would never happen or thought possible. Im going to call this give it 20 years and we will see advances in medical science and with advanced tech new treatments will be discovered for the sick as well as for some deadly diseases. The 2020's have been a rough start but mid 2020's is when things will get better and pick up.
