I had the privilege of stepping into the heart of Amazon yesterday. The agenda? A candid discussion on the recent shift from their SNL program to the new Low-ASP program. 📦 💼 Meeting of the Minds 💼 I sat down with Amazon's senior leadership team alongside fellow sellers to dive deep into the changes, the challenges, and the opportunities presented by this transition. 💰 Fee Adjustments 💰 It is no surprise that there is a concern from a lot of sellers regarding the fee increases from the SNL programme to the LOW-ASP programme with an increase of fees up 20% on average, with the highest fee increase being a massive 55% higher. 📈 🚤 Fast Speeds🚤 The Low-ASP programme now provides faster delivery speeds to the customer from a 48 delivery to a 24 delivery. But does this improvement out way the fee increase for sellers and ultimately a higher product cost for the customer? Have you seen an effect from the switch from the SNL to Low-ASP? #amazon #ecommerce #lowasp #snl #marketplaces #FBA

Hey LinkedIn, What are you thoughts on this new video concept? It's funny to know that up to 90% of M&A Deals we see in our thread everyday will fail to meet their target. And this is mostly due to a lack of integration on the cultural perspective.. This video and article illustrate how the #Amazon acquisition of #WholeFoods forgot the importance of the Human element. Curious to see if you like this new format!
Far from farm, when Organic meets Algorithm: The Blending and Bending of Amazon and Whole Foods When #Amazon embraced #WholeFoods in a USD$13.7bn-handshake in 2017, it wasn't just a business deal; it was a collision of cultures and a blend of high-tech meets organic charm, where algorithmic ambition collides with the ethos of local, organic produce. As #Amazon infuses its tech-savvy approach into Whole Foods' traditional charm, we witness a retail metamorphosis, for better or for worse... The cultural fit between merging organizations is critical for successful integration. Disparities in corporate culture can lead to internal friction, and decreased employee morale, and can impact overall synergy realization. Effective change management strategies must be in place to guide employees through the transition. Transparent communication, employee engagement, and support systems are crucial for minimizing disruption. Run a Import company helping sourcing products for retailers. Run an Amazon Ecommerce Business Investor in Ecommerce Businesses
In 16 years, I’ve built a number of successful Amazon stores. Here’s my biggest learn: 👇 Put people in places that they’re good at. When we first started out, We had poor systems, ↳ Employees in the wrong place, ↳ Which meant employees weren’t growing. This lead to the business growth being slow, Even going backwards at times. Something had to change. So we put proper systems into place, ↳ Employees in places that they could grow ↳ And helped employees flourish in/ outside of work. The business grew exponentially. Thousands of sales later, I’m taking on a select few Amazon sellers looking to drive growth and profit into their stores, Helping them to optimise their product listings, And offering guidance from myself and my team of experts. Want to be a part of the select few? Message me "SCALE" to join the waiting list... #Amazon #AmazonFBA #AmazonSeller #AmazonAdvertising

Amazon Thriving Amidst the Storm of Criticism Outshining Rivals, Still Under the Microscope Imagine being so good that no matter how you perform people always think you could have done better? That's the best way to describe how people write on here and criticize Amazon's grocery efforts. We jump all over them because they make mistakes. They seem to have a lack of focus. Or, quite simply, we just expected more. The real message is that Amazon is rattling the bars of an entrenched industry. It's in a heavy "test & learn" mode. In my opinion, it's working. Incumbents should be worried. * Amazon has grown their grocery business to $60B since 2003 * Amazon has a $1.4 trillion valuation — more than all U.S. grocers combined * They are currently the 5th largest grocery in the US, soon to be 4th * Andy Jassy, emphasizes the importance of a physical presence in the grocery sector - We all know how fast they can build and how willing they are to invest in infrastructure What other business would have this success yet still be so heavily criticized? #grocery #amazon #logistics #execution Credit for the infographic: Scott Moses

How do you launch a new product to #1 on Amazon? Simple Modern sold their first product on Amazon in 2016. At the time, all three co-founders had other full-time jobs, with new babies in the house or on the way. To say they were bootstrapped is an understatement. But they knew a thing or two about branding. Today, they're category leaders for retail partners Amazon, Target, and Sam’s Club. And their recent launch took #1 in Bar Tools. What's their branding secret? Check out the slides for this simple listing tip. ________________ P.S. If you're curious about selling on Amazon, we’ve got a free masterclass where you can learn more. Risk Manager II - Amazon | Bar-Raiser in Amazon | Six Sigma Certified Black Belt | Ex - Tesco UK and CE | Ex - Pantaloons | Ex - Taj Hotels | MBA - XLRI Jamshedpur | Hotel Management - Army College
So, today I complete Six years in the world's most customer centric and innovative company - Amazon. When I look back, Amazon happened to me by accident and I couldnt have asked for a more rewarding and wonderful experience. 6 years back, I was pretty happy and doing well in Tesco (which in my opinion is a gem of a company), when a challenging call from an ex-colleague (Rishi Raj ,PMP®,CASM®) led me to interviews in Amazon and the journey started. Reflecting back, I want to talk about my 6 top learnings from the numerous mistakes I have made in Amazon . 1) Thinking innovatively without the required deep dive is crap 2) Meeting in person/ a quick video call is best way to resolve work issues rather than countless thread/chain of e-mails 3) Empathy is a big stepping stone to earn trust of internal and external stakeholders 4) Speak inclusively and be decisive, no point in beating around the bush to please people 5) Learn to control emotions when your ideas get rejected, go back, do a self evaluation and move on 6) Relax yourself. Work is challenging and tough at Amazon, but sometimes take a step back, rewind yourself and be happy with the change you have brought to countless customer lives #amazon #amaversary #6years #leadership #customers #team #gratitude

🔍 Did you know that Amazon faced a staggering $84.3 billion in return processing costs last year alone? This was a substantial jump from their expenses in 2019, despite raking in nearly $514 billion in revenue. 💡 In a bold move to tackle these soaring costs, Amazon has revised its return policy. Now, a $1 fee is charged for returns made at a UPS store if a closer free return location is available - think Whole Foods, Amazon Fresh, Amazon Go, Staples, or Kohl’s. 🛒 But here's the twist: This isn't just a cost-cutting measure. It's a strategic play to boost in-store traffic and spur impulse purchases at partner locations. And guess what? It's working! Amazon's partnership with Kohl’s is a prime example, attracting 2 million new customers to Kohl’s in just one year. 📈 This strategy showcases a seamless blend of digital and physical retail worlds, emphasizing customer convenience while optimizing operational efficiency. 🤔 As professionals and businesses in the world of e-commerce, what can we learn from Amazon's approach to policy adjustment and strategic partnerships? #Amazon #ECommerceStrategy #RetailInnovation #BusinessGrowth #CustomerExperience #reverselogistics
