🔊 Job Opportunity: Electrical Design Engineer for Photovoltaic Plant Project in the USA. 📍 Primarily based in The Woodlands, Texas (position may involve travel) 📅 Duration: 1.5 to 2 years, with potential for continued employment on other projects upon project completion. ✅ The role involves designing electrical layouts and specifications, supporting the preconstruction team, and overseeing the detailed design by external engineering firms. ✅ The engineer will ensure compliance with the conceptual design and timely deliverables to maintain the construction schedule. Additional support to the construction team during project execution will also be required. ✅ Duties: - Understand and design solar installations, including ground-mounted, tracker, and fixed structures, as well as Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). - Interface with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to meet design requirements. - Identify and manage new technologies and trends from vendors and implement them in new opportunities. - Communicate with consultant engineers, suppliers, and construction teams to resolve engineering issues. - Perform engineering and construction drawings for solar PV projects. - Conduct periodic design compliance inspections on project sites. ✅ Qualifications: - Minimum 2 years of recent experience in engineering design of photovoltaic plants >100 MW. - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar (Master’s degree is a plus). - Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Experience with Microsoft Project and any 3D design software is a plus. - Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) and other industry standards. - Knowledge of energy storage and distributed generation technologies is a plus. - Experience with PVSyst, System Advisory Model (SAM), and/or AutoCAD Civil. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Strong leadership, interpersonal, prioritization, and time management skills. ✅ Benefits: - Handling and payment of the US work visa. - Employment with an expanding international company. - 22 paid vacation days + 5 sick leave days (100% salary). - Local health insurance. - Provided vehicle, gas, laptop, and phone. ➡ Apply now and become part of our team.
