Reflecting on 6 Incredible Years at the Anderton Centre When I first walked through the doors of the Anderton Centre, I couldn't have imagined the challenges, successes, and invaluable lessons that lay ahead. From day one, I sensed there was something truly special about this place. My mission was clear: harness its potential, build a team that could express its unique qualities, and share its story with as many people as possible. I don’t toot my own horn very often, but by any metric, the Centre has gone from strength to strength. I am immensely proud of what we have achieved together. In business, people often say you should never look back as it may cause you to lose focus on the future. While I somewhat agree, I believe that reflecting on our journey allows us to appreciate how far we’ve come and to craft an inspiring vision for the future. To use a sporting analogy, we aim to leave the shirt in a better place than when we got it. When the time is right, I hope to do just that. For now, there's still plenty of work ahead, driving more passion, enhancing customer focus, and striving for continuous improvement. #milestone #careerjourney #teamwork #growthmindset #continuousimprovement #reflect

You spend ⅓ of your life at the workplace which is a considerable span.  And there should be thoughtfulness around the quality space, comfort, accessibility and motivation. While defining the standard of space, Homeland City amuses only entrepreneurs with high goals and long term persistence, so HLC corporate space is a good opportunity to work around like minded people. Considering the infrastructure, all the offices have 11 ft ceiling height with individual restroom units and most of the offices have a scenic view of the city. HLC corporate offices that reside above the retail park have zero disturbance from elsewhere and at the same time entire Homeland City is well connected through 16 public elevators. That’s the intelligence of our architecture. And an aspect that shouldn’t go unrecognized is the ‘view’. The city space that fills you with enthusiasm and aspirations are here with us at Homeland City.

That’s why we will always champion the importance of partnership and collaboration for the benefit of the West End and beyond. Do we have our own vision for London and the nation? Of course. But it’s one that involves bringing our peers and partners along with us. And, it’s informed and inspired by looking at how other incredible cities around the world are changing for the better, before thinking about how we can achieve similar things. Two partnerships I’ve been particularly proud of last year: - Our work with Westminster City Council developing a long-term vision for Regent Street, and with Zoological Society of London (ZSL) and The Royal Parks to restore the spine between St James’s and The Regent’s Park (a personal passion of mine) - Our collaborative report with National Trust, Peabody, Historic England, and Grosvenor designed to help address the UK skills gap in the area of heritage retrofit, boost the economy and support its net zero future. The vision aims to uplift and enhance the existing community and culture, rather than replacing it, fostering a sense of identity and commercial vibrancy.      Debuted in County Executive Angela Alsobrooks’s 2021 State of the County address, this vision has already secured over $475M in State funding and ignited private development activity.
