Hire experts and do it earlier than you think you should. The skill of all top businesspeople is cultivating the skills of others. The sooner you rip off the band-aid and hire people, the sooner your business will thrive. Here are some of my experts... 1. Marketing Coordinator: Our MC elevated our passive outreach and marketing materials and allowed me to focus on prospecting and selling. 2. Transaction Coordinator: Hire someone who is very organized and let them track your proposals, listings, under-contract activities, and closings. Within six months, this person should be doing it better than you did. 3. Junior Agents: You need more people in order to create scale so that the market knows your brand. Empower these agents to run their own businesses within your platform. If you want to micromanage salespeople, then just hire a cold caller or assistant. 4. Bookkeeper/CPA: Have a finance team that keeps you from freaking out at tax season. Removing this stress is worth every penny. 5. Personal Staff: As you start to make more money, get rid of the tasks that you don’t like.
