I love Qatar Airways. And that is a beautiful landing. But Dulles International Airport is NOT in Washington DC. It is 24 miles from DC in Loudoun County, Virginia.

When I first flew to doha with a business jet circa 1980s Qatar airways did not exist. Founded in 1993 and owned by the Qatari Royal Family, Qatar Airways began operations in January 1994, performed a stunning success within a short time. May Qatar Airways continue its development respecting the sustainable aviation principles and Mother Nature.

On Sunday, I arrived at the airport with all the required documentation and checked in without issue. However, when I reached the gate, an agent’s slowness and uncertainty regarding visa verification caused a significant delay. Despite presenting the correct documentation and rectifying a name discrepancy on the spot, the agent took an excessive amount of time—over an hour and a half—to verify my visa. This delay resulted in the ticket counter closing before my verification was complete. During this time, one of my bags was checked and placed on the plane, yet the remaining steps were not completed in a timely manner, directly due to the agent's incompetence. Despite the intervention of a supervisor, the situation was not resolved efficiently, and I was ultimately unable to board my flight. The emotional and logistical impact of this failure is immense, as I was traveling to attend my mother’s funeral. I demand immediate action to address this situation. I expect a full refund of my ticket and compensation for the emotional and logistical hardship caused. Additionally, I urge you to review your staff’s training and competence in handling such critical tasks to prevent future occurrences.

Qatar Airways Qatar Airways can someone contact me PLEASE. I left artwork on my flight from Bali on Sunday 30th June. I realized it 3 mins after deplaning while on the shuttle, my escort told me they would bring it to me in the oryx lounge in a couple hours. It was confirmed the item was located several times (my last name Smith was written on it). 8 hours later after talking to 5 people in the lounge includingsupervisors. The item was never delivered to us although an hour prior to my boarding lost and found said to lounge employee Rumbi. they had the item. Please go to c2 and have a qatar employee come get it. The employee went and came back empty handed. He said it was not there. I would really appreciate someone reaching out to me. We would appreciate our art work back. Created tracking ATLLP88843. The number given to Rumbi by lost and found AP1F1195281

Subsequent Qatar Airways Airways is claiming we were a “no show” even after proving we were there and bags were checked. (See bag tag and dates). It is impossible for us to be “no shows” if there is a bag tag with the corresponding dates.
