AMS aims to stimulate co-creation activities and the exchange of ideas by using its extensive stakeholder network to facilitate connections between knowledge institutes, private and public organisations.   The goal of the Amsterdam pilot is to demonstrate the potential of joint multimodal management in developing resilient responses to major infrastructure disruptions. TRI is excited to be a key part of the Boggo Road Innovation Precinct. Our shareholding partners are The University of Queensland, QUT (Queensland University of Technology), Queensland Health and Mater Research. We are home to the recently established Translational Science Hub and its partners, including Sanofi; and adjacent to Thermo Fisher Scientific. And we will have Australia's first scale-up biomedical manufacturing facility for early-phase start up biotech companies to test and develop their products, when Translational Manufacturing@TRI (MR@TRI) opens in late 2025. What an ecosystem for driving research excellence, collaboration and commercialisation.

🎉 Exciting news! Our latest research paper, "Integrated Home Renovation Services as a Means to Boost Energy Renovations for Homeowner Associations: A Comparative Analysis of Service Providers’ Business Models" has been published in the Energy and Buildings journal. 🔍 In this study, which is part of my PhD research at Delft University of Technology and the EU LIFE_CondoReno project, we looked into how integrated home renovation services can assist Homeowner Associations (HOAs) (also known in the Netherlands as VvE’s and in Belgium as VMEs) in undertaking significant energy retrofits. Building on our previous research identifying barriers faced by HOAs and possible solutions https://lnkd.in/ebq2GvFS , this paper investigates, evaluates and compares the business models of 14 service providers who are working on facilitating energy renovations for HOAs, mainly in the Netherlands and Flanders but also frontrunners from France and Austria. 💡 We highlight the strengths and weaknesses of each model and offer strategic suggestions for improvement. PREUSE : let’s start ! ☄️ 🇪🇺 Our new international #researchproject supported by Interreg North-West Europe (NWE) is officially launched. 🥳 Despite an existing and growing commitment to adopting circular practices in public construction work, organising the #reclamation and #reuse of materials remains a challenge for many actors. That's why, for 5 years, 9 project partners will be working, studying and field-testing strategies to create :   ▪️A strategy for developing #reusecentres for construction materials salvaged from public works sites. ▪️A series of local action plans for the future development of reuse centres. ▪️3 pilot projects to test innovative formats of reuse centres. ▪️A #training programmes in the reclamation and reuse of construction materials for public and private organisations. 🤝 To achieve this, the project's approach is based on collaboration between #publicauthorities and #reuseexperts to implement the proposed solutions directly and operationally. The partnership draws on existing solutions, developed in particular by the project partners (remember FCRBE? 😉), and on the diversity of initiatives in the region to ensure that these innovative solutions are more easily disseminated and adopted.
