To conclude #Pride Month, our employees share their personal coming out stories and talk about how Quaker Houghton has inspired and empowered them to bring their true selves to work every day. Lindsey Key, Lindsey Key, Manager of Creative Design and Multimedia: “I have been at Quaker Houghton for 10 Years, through a lot of evolutions and transformations. Even though one might think of our industry – industrial manufacturing – as being dominated by white males, I’ve learned not to discount or stereotype it because it is the people who make the culture and allow for that acceptance, which is exactly what I’ve found at Quaker Houghton. Of course, there is always more work to be done to improve but that is part of building the diverse and inclusive culture that we’re creating here. As a founder and co-leader of our PRIDE Colleague Resource Group (CRG) and part of the Culture and Engagement Taskforce, focused on creating opportunities for colleagues to share their stories and raise greater awareness of the diversity within our organization, I look forward to seeing Quaker Houghton evolve even further that it has since I started here 2014. I am excited about bringing the PRIDE CRG to life, and seeing how that allows us to shine even more light on the amazing culture we are building at Quaker Houghton.”

(not that I've ever used them...but I could) So I've stocked up on pens and post-it's, let's get this CIPD Strategic People Management course started. 👍 #personaldevelopment #change #lifelonglearning

🌟 Honoring Mothers: Reflecting on Gender Equality 🌟 As we celebrate Mother's Day, I find myself reflecting on the invaluable lessons my own mother taught me about equality and respect. Raised by a single mother, I learned early on that domestic chores were not solely the responsibility of women but a shared duty among all family members. This upbringing instilled in me the importance of treating everyone with respect, regardless of gender, race, or any other factor. Entering the professional world at P&G, I carried these principles with me. Working alongside diverse teams with over 50% female representation, I believed I embodied the values of equality and inclusion. However, it wasn't until a MARC workshop in Panama, a few years ago I truly grasped the depth of gender inequality. In just a few minutes, the workshop opened my eyes to the privileges I, as a man, had unknowingly enjoyed and the daily challenges women face, both personally and professionally. It was a sobering realization that despite my awareness, I had been a passive supporter rather than an active advocate for change. Mother's Day serves as a poignant reminder that there is always more to learn and do in the pursuit of true equality. Awareness and support are essential, but they must be accompanied by action. Let's honor the mothers in our lives by committing to being not just passive supporters, but active allies in the fight for gender equality. Together, we can create a more inclusive world for all. Alejandro Ramirez (Senior Director Purchases for LA North Market Operations at Procter & Gamble) shares a personal story on how his mother showed him the first steps on his #GenderPartnership journey. ❤️ Although #MothersDay is honored on various dates globally, this Sunday, we invite you to share your story and join us in shining a light on those who #NurturedToAdvocate the #CatalystEffect. 🌊 💡 Want to take your #GenderPartnership skills to the next level like Alex? Even when Mr. Peltz’s investments have been successful, those companies succeed in spite of his guidance — not because of it. PepsiCo ignored Mr. Peltz, refusing to part ways with Frito Lay, divest North American and International beverages, or marry Pepsi with Peltz’s losing investment in Mondelez. At Procter & Gamble, executives ignored Mr. Peltz’s calls to move its Cincinnati headquarters or decentralize M&A to the business units. These companies succeeded because they ignored Mr. Peltz. Will Mr. Peltz put The Walt Disney Company shareholders and executives in the same position? #thefutureofdisney #disneydeservesthebest

Love these posts from the Ginsberg's Foods team. Great job of establishing the brand of a company by featuring the people who make the company what it is. How is Ginsberg's, a regional food distributor, going to stand out when so many products are commoditized? They showcase their people. I want to open a restaurant just to buy from this guy, and from the team that he considers family. Branding isn't just marketing to potential customers. It is also attracting additional employees and making the enterprise/company/brand more attractive to other companies as partners. I'd suggest some design tweaks and mechanics within the edit, but full props to the messages. #branding #brandbuilding
With 31 years of experience under his belt, Bill Rich stands as a stalwart figure in the warehouse of Ginsberg's Foods, often being one of the first faces encountered by trainees on their journey with the company. His seasoned expertise is evident as he meticulously guides newcomers through every aspect of the job, infusing each training session with his trademark humor, making even the most mundane tasks enjoyable for his teammates and trainees. Bill's presence adds a comforting reassurance to the warehouse floor. His unwavering dedication to his craft and ability to find joy in every moment makes him a respected mentor and a cherished friend to all who have the pleasure of working alongside him at Ginsberg's. While Bill spends his days zipping through the aisles of the warehouse, his life outside of work is equally vibrant. When not immersed in Ginsberg's bustling activity, he can indulge his passions elsewhere, whether cheering on his favorite team in a stadium packed with roaring fans or trying his luck at the roulette table. Bill's zest for life is infectious, leaving an indelible mark on both the warehouse floor and beyond. Our Ginsberg’s Employee Spotlight continues this month with an unwavering team member committed to the service and success of the Ginsberg's team. Thank you, Bill, for all you do here at Ginsberg’s Foods! 🌟 #employeespotlight #employeeappreciation #foodservice #foodserviceindustry #hudsonvalley #employeespotlight #warehouseworkers

As the CEO of RCL FOODS’ The Do More Foundation, I am constantly reminded of the profound impact that the right team can have on our work . Jim Collins, in his seminal book “Good to Great” emphasises the importance of having the right people in the right seats on the bus. This principle is not just a strategy—it's our foundation. Each member of our team brings unique skills, passions, and perspectives that are essential to our success. When these talents are aligned and directed towards a common purpose, magic happens. Imagine a rowing team: if everyone rows in different directions, chaos ensues. But when everyone rows in unison, guided by a shared vision, the boat glides effortlessly through the water. This is the essence of our work at the The Do More Foundation Our success stories are a testament to the power of alignment and collaboration. From innovative projects that have changed lives to the everyday victories that keep us moving forward, it is our team’s collective effort that makes it all possible. I am incredibly proud of each member of our team and their unwavering dedication. Together, we are not just achieving our goals—we are surpassing them. Let this be a reminder that with the right people in the right seats, all pointed in the right direction, there is no limit to what we can achieve. Here is to the power of teamwork and the incredible journey ahead! #teamwork #people #strategy
