I think students must seize the opportunity. I suggest that every summer or winter vacation or when preparing for graduation thesis, find more companies to do internships and strive for more opportunities to participate in projects. This is definitely helpful for students to enter their careers. . Through internships, students can learn more about insurance companies and the actuarial profession, so that they can make better choices when they graduate. But in fact, after entering this field, students will have more than thirty years to make choices, so the choices in the first two years are actually not that important, and you can try more. Some of the people who took the exam with me went into investment banking, some went into risk management, and some started their own companies. Everyone’s career is actually different. Don’t get too hung up on what to do in your first job.

✨ 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐋𝐭𝐝. ✨ I'm excited to share that I recently completed a 2-month internship at Home First Finance Company (HFFC) as a Finance Intern! It was an incredible experience that equipped me with valuable skills and a deeper understanding of the financial services industry. During my internship, I gained expertise in three key areas: 𝐀𝐂𝐇 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: I delved into registering clients for Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments, ensuring a smooth and efficient transaction flow. 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: I assisted the team in business development initiatives, learning valuable strategies for client acquisition and market expansion. 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: This was a core aspect of my role, where I analyzed close to 50+ cases. I honed my skills in analyzing financial data and reports to assess the creditworthiness of potential borrowers. This process involved understanding creditworthiness factors, interpreting credit scores, and making informed recommendations. I'm grateful for the mentorship and guidance I received from the Home First team(Madurai Main branch) . They provided a supportive and encouraging environment where I could learn and grow. "Excited to apply these newly acquired skills in future endeavors! 🌟 #Learning #Growth #FutureGoals"

Thank you to Citi for offering students the chance to complete their 'Investment Banking' virtual internship programme through Forage! During this experience, I have learnt how to: - Identify a public corporation to be acquired and build out a company profile page - Project a company’s financials by building a simple financial model - Build a trading comparable model to depict where the target company’s valuation is positioned relative to its peers - Analyze the valuation information to give a summary of the main ideas I now feel more confident in my ability to build a financial model and trading comparable model, giving a summary of main ideas in the model.
