Had a great time meeting entrepreneurs at Stage Two, Europe's largest competition for new start-ups coming out of leading universities.
Listening to Sophie Louise Rowe's panel on "Building Europe’s Tomorrow", meeting impact investors, and talking with startup leaders was a great window into the European startup scene.
Out of all of the fantastic pitches, I was especially inspired by;
Vuala, using micro-organisms to separate out food waste and turn it into biogas on site.
Tidings, curating daily content to cut through the chaos of the internet.
Matrix Health & Care, designing an updated speculum to improve women's health outcomes.
Aestuarium, altering bacteria for desalination as an energy-efficient alternative.
IonKraft, making plastic packaging more sustainable using plasma-coated barriers.
Ru Wikmann 🐝 and I also got to share BeeSage's mission to help beekeepers make smart decisions from afar with the help of IoT sensors.
This was huge!!
We are still in awe of the immense united energy of innovativeness and drive that came together yesterday in Berlin. The power created by challenging one another, discussing the topics #forourbeyond, and shattering boundaries as we explore the visionary ideas imagined and created in Europe was truly remarkable. 💙
A huge thank you goes out to our corporate partners, the VC’s and all of the strong startups emerging from Europe's best universities. Without your trust, support and belief in our vision Stage Two wouldn’t be possible. 🌊
But have a look for yourself.
