The sheer joy of watching DUDE Wipes succeed is that it is a great (and often rare) growth story that pulls on all the handles. It's not about the just wipe itself. Dude Wipes is succeeding because Sean Riley & co are building a brand that is: Easy-to- Think Of : Consistent irreverent/humorous messaging in a category where nobody dares to be too creative. And they have stayed focused. Easy-to-Find: Expanding a premium product in a large category and across most route-to-market channels and geographies. It is not niche and they have expanded the category for most retailers. Easy-to Satisfy: The product delivers...you could say.. easy-to wipe Easy-to-Justify: Yes, its more expensive (per butt wipe, that is) than many commoditized alternatives, but the genius here is that Dude Wipes has destigmatized a consumer need and made it OK for many to put the pack in their basket with confidence. Easy-to-Buy: Smart use of trade marketing funds (physical & digital) across the omnichannel spectrum that reduces purchase friction and amplifies all the previous Easy-Tos.
