When it comes to fireworks, you could see if there are large group events in your area, or you could consider setting off your own fireworks display at home. If you choose the latter, have fun enjoying fireworks while practicing safety. Ensuring Fireworks Safety: A Reminder from CDA 🚧🎇 As we approach #IndependenceDay, CDA would like to remind everyone about the importance of fireworks safety. Fireworks are a traditional part of celebrations, but they can also pose significant risks if not handled properly. Here are some tips to ensure a safe and enjoyable fireworks experience: - Attend public fireworks displays organized by trained professionals whenever possible. - Have a designated adult supervise fireworks activities and keep children and pets at a safe distance. - Keep a bucket of water or hose nearby to extinguish fireworks or in case of emergencies. - Follow all manufacturer instructions and guidelines for proper handling and use of fireworks. - In case of a malfunction or fire, do not attempt to relight or handle fireworks. Instead, wait 20 minutes and then soak them in water before disposal. By following these safety tips, we can all enjoy fireworks responsibly and prevent accidents and injuries.
