I NEED A JOB, plain and simple and most importantly - TO THE POINT! It's been 4 LONG months since being laid off and with each passing day, it's becoming harder to be "seen". As the number of layoffs are increasing, it seems. I've done everything I know to do - network, apply for jobs, revamp my resume, change the wording on my LinkedIn profile to be more available for AI purposes, reach out to recruiters and a multitude of other things. Being humble is not hard for me, I am willing to work outside of my field - doing whatever it takes - just to be an employed individual in our society. I know I'm not the only individual facing this dilemma, and for the ones still facing this, I understand the heartbreak and you are not alone. Luke 11:9 “And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” May all that have fallen on hard times find work very soon. And by reading this, you know that you're not alone in the struggle to find employment. #keepthefaith 💯

Thank you for posting these beautiful and real words because this morning feels like one of those days that I really needed to see this. Please know that you are not alone. I along with others am right there with you. It has been almost 5 months for me, and I have also done all of the things you said you have done. We are doing all we can and that is important to remember during this time. I am an extremely optimistic person and truly believe everything happens for a reason, even if we don't understand the "why" behind it at the time. However, if I am being honest, some days are really hard. Not only is it terrifying and stressful being the only one to provide for my son without an income, but it is extremely disheartening not being able to do the work I love. But... I know my time will come because I won't give up. I know that you are going to find the perfect job and always remember that you are valuable - we are all valuable. Sending good vibes and positive energy to all of the ones who are also in the same situation... all of our times will come!

Very well said, Beth. Saying a prayer for you and those who are struggling to find work! God is the provider for His own. It’s hard to accept His timing, but He will come thru.
