🚀 Excited to share that our pre-print, "Generative AI for Health Technology Assessment: Opportunities, Challenges, and Policy Considerations," has been published on ArXiv! 📝📊 In this comprehensive review, we delve into the transformative potential of generative AI and foundation models, including large language models (LLMs), in key areas such as: 📚 Evidence Synthesis: Automating literature reviews and meta-analyses. 🔍 Evidence Generation: Enhancing the analysis of real-world data (RWD). 🧪 Clinical Trials: Optimizing trial design, improving patient matching, and managing trial data. 💰 Economic Modeling: Streamlining the development of health economic models. We also address the current limitations and provide policy suggestions for the responsible integration of these advanced technologies in health technology assessment (HTA). 📜⚖️ Huge thanks to my co-authors: Jiang Bian, Xiaoyan Wang, Hua Xu, Dalia Dawoud, Tala Fakhouri, Mitch Higashi, and Jagpreet (Jag) Chhatwal Chhatwal for their invaluable contributions and to ISPOR—The Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research. Let's continue to explore and harness the power of generative AI to advance health outcomes and clinical research, and improve patient outcomes! 🌟🩺 #AI #HealthTechnologyAssessment #GenerativeAI #HealthResearch #LLMs #HTA #NIBIB #ISPOR 👉 Read the full article here:
