The advent of Gen AI does little to change this, though it has enormous potential for client communication, legal documentation drafting and review, as well as other related functions like fraud detection. It’s less clear if Gen AI poses the same risks (or any for that matter) within this pocket of the industry, simply because market resilience and market making is not about language today.
