"It is our duty to pay for our liberty with our own blood." - Subhash Chandra Bose. Deep within the tapestry of history, where heroes and leaders shine, one name stands out with exceptional luminance - Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Not merely for his pivotal role in India's struggle for freedom, but for the sheer force of will he embodied. My discovery of Netaji's tale during a college lecture wasn't just an academic lesson; it was a transformative experience that altered my perception of leadership and determination. Subhash Chandra Bose was more than just a leader; he personified a tempestuous passion, an unparalleled commitment, and an enduring belief in his visions. He demonstrated to the world that genuine change demands a heart that dares to defy conventions. Netaji's unyielding spirit served as a beacon during moments of doubt in my life. It emphasized that true leadership hinges on adhering to one's convictions, even when the world stands in opposition. Whenever I've faced dilemmas, be it in my professional journey or personal life, I've sought solace and inspiration in Bose's narrative. It serves as a constant reminder that monumental change requires not just vision, but the audacity to act upon it. To every individual reading this post, especially the emerging leaders and innovators among us: history isn't merely a recollection of past events. It's a treasure trove of lessons, encapsulating tales of ordinary humans who, fueled by passion, etched their names in the annals of time as extraordinary trailblazers. Let us endeavor to perpetuate the legacy illuminated by pioneers like Bose, sculpting a future where our deeds are motivated by passion, unwavering commitment, and an undying spirit. From Turbulence to Triumph: Kazuo Inamori's Captaincy at JAL 🌩️✈️ In 2010, financial clouds loomed over Japan Airlines (JAL). But an unfamiliar aviator, Kazuo Inamori - the brain behind Kyocera and KDDI, took the helm. By 2012, with Inamori's adept leadership, JAL soared through adversity, reinstating its prideful altitude. 1. 🔬 Amoeba Management in Play (👥): Inamori applied his distinctive "amoeba management" style, segmenting JAL into agile units. These 'amoebas' shouldered fiscal autonomy, fostering transparency and duty. A message was clear: united teams turn overwhelming odds to tales of triumph. 2. Back to Basics (🧭): In a fast-paced, profit-first landscape, Inamori emphasized timeless business tenets. He resurrected JAL's essence, marrying success with ethics and purpose. 3. 📐 Precision in Finance (💰): Surgical in approach, Inamori pruned extravagant costs, heralding efficient spending. His moves highlighted: in tumult, austerity isn’t just prudent; it's pivotal. 4. Modern Wings, Brighter Horizons (🔧): Heeding contemporary demands, Inamori prioritized a fuel-efficient fleet. A lesson here: adaptability, especially under duress, can redefine futures. 5. 🌳 Cultivating Excellence (🌱): Inamori fortified JAL's training, asserting that a firm's revival begins with empowering its people. The resurgence of Apple 🍎 under Steve Jobs mirrors JAL's resurgence. Jobs, akin to Inamori, realigned Apple to its core, amplified innovation, and reignited team faith. In business’s grand opera, Inamori's JAL chapter extols resilience, moral compass, and visionary zeal. As challenges ebb and flow, where will your compass point, ensuring your venture's unwavering course? 🌟 #KazuoInamori #JapanAirlines #PhoenixRise #MoralCompassInBusiness ✈️🌌

OH NO!! ••••••••••• Good morning, everyone! In the midst of our busy lives, I recently had an encounter with an individual we'll refer to as "Entitled Mr. A." Mr. A and I hadn't crossed paths for years, but suddenly, he reappeared, expecting help from all directions. His rationale was simple: he felt entitled to it, and he wouldn't accept a "no" for an answer. Instead, he'd respond with blame and point fingers at anyone who disagreed. I'm sure many of you have encountered someone like Mr. A before. This type of behavior can be described as "Manipulative & Entitled." In this scenario, I approached Mr. A with calm and assertiveness. I encouraged him to consider the perspectives of others and stressed the importance of respect. However, in his world, it seemed that his problems were the most significant. Individuals like Mr. A are abundant in both professional and personal spheres. Please note that if someone like Mr. A remains obstinate and resistant to change, it's perfectly acceptable to gracefully step away from the situation. Choose not to be a part of the drama. This advice applies both professionally and personally. Just like an aircraft preparing for takeoff, we have a promising path ahead. Leave Mr. A and his blame game behind, and let's continue to soar high. In all situations, let's remember to spread kindness and love. So this picture takes me back to my Lexus days! 𝗪𝗛𝗬? Well, this is a Car park in Japan, meticulously planned to maximize the number of vehicles they can accommodate, whilst ensuring sufficient space for circulation & Maneuvering. The geometric layout and discipline in the use of these car parks, reflect the culture of order & respect for one another. This makes you think....... how can we promote both order & respect for each other in the business world? Here are some ideas and they are all free 😃 𝗟𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆: Truly hear others 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻: Acknowledge good work 𝗕𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹: Respect other's time 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆: Express Gratitude 𝗕𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗳𝘂𝗹: Respect personal space and boundaries 𝗔𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘆: Own your mistakes 𝗦𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗹𝘆: Create a friendly atmosphere 𝗕𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲: Involve everyone 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀: Embrace Diversity 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲: Focus on solutions rather than problems These are just a few, which ones can you put your hand on your heart and say you do EVERYDAY?

Wait, what? That was my reaction when I saw my name on the screen. While HR was talking about how DiDi has renewed the Vale Star Award -which recognizes people who live our values to the fullest, going beyond their daily work and serve as role models for others - I was just thinking about who in the Global Mkt Team could win... and then, like an Oscar winner, it hit me... For me, win-win collaboration is the heart of success. Embracing others' ideas and exploring diverse points of view. I believe in immersing myself completely in each project, striving to elevate it exponentially. Teamwork, to me, is all about finding the best solution by leveraging the collective brilliance of the team. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to work alongside such an extraordinary team that consistently gives 120% effort to every project, while finding joy in our daily work. Thanks, Pablo Legarrea and Carolina Avella Angel for constantly giving me the opportunity to demonstrate that 120%. #Marketing #Teamwork #Collaboration #DiDi #WomenInTech
