Hey I moved to New Jersey recently and looking for opportunities, I have been associated with Randstad India for the past 5 years as an Assistant manager and looking for some good vacancies, any leads would be appreciated!
In HR we have a big role.
We are like the canaries in the mines [birds who gave the workers an indicator of how toxic the air was before they experienced it too]. If we feel like something is off, it often is.
If we don’t speak up, the company culture will perish.
That is absolutely true with workplace investigations as Saira Gangji, MIRHR shares here. We have to seek and speak truth as much as we can.
It can be really hard to create safety for others in an environment where you perhaps don’t feel safe yourself.
When we don't feel safe, we are in survival mode.
We need to find our voices.
But if we have learnt that we get punished for speaking up, we hold back our voices and all the magic that we could be bringing.
This is EXACTLY why I am building Bloom, so that women in HR can speak up each and every time their stomachs flip.
We will say no.
We will say; 'I am sorry but I am planning to investigate anyway.' Or we will say; 'It’s okay that you won’t let me investigate, but here is my resignation.'
Check out the full episode with Saira Gangji, MIRHR when it drops tomorrow on Bloom with RPB, on all podcast platforms 💫

As mentioned yesterday, I'm playing a little catch-up here and for the next month or so, each day I'm planning to showcase one of my podcast guest books that I had the privilege to review in preparation for our conversation.
So in the past two days, we have already highlighted two books
1. "Lead Like A Pro" by author Eric Girard
2. "Reawakening the Human Spirit" by author Dr. Lance Secretan. PhD.
Today we are going right back to our very first podcast episode which was released Aug 2, 2022 with our guest Dr. Merrylue Martin. Merrylue released a great book titled
"The Big Quit Survival Guide," (available on Amazon - https://lnkd.in/eP4bSkiy)
With a powerful central message that - People are People First, Employees Second! Considering the timing of the book release during the height of the "Great Resignation" it offered an important insight for leaders to remember, in our effort to retain and attract the best talent.
Inside you find plenty of helpful insights, tools, and tactics. Make sure you check out the Survival Kit as the book's companion.

A resource for leaders on bridging the Opportunity Divide!
If you have a say in shaping the direction of your organization and providing learning and growing opportunities for the frontline workers, this new Podcast with Rachel Romer and Adam Grant is a great resource.
Just this first episode is filled with gems of insights.
Opportunity divide among people in the workforce is ever increasing as people who’ve been tech savvy, have the access and the know how to leverage the new breakthroughs and new technologies to make their lives easier and upward mobility easier.
The lack of access, knowledge and know how of being able to use the new resources at our disposal is what is widening the opportunity divide. Some hard conversations are to be had and at the same time there are so many opportunities to be pursued and wins to be gained.

👩💼📈 Future Proof Your Workforce! 🌟👨💼📈
Hey, Team #Leaders and #HR Superheroes! Ready to boost #retention and employee #morale?
Yesterday’s playbook for talent management won’t work anymore. The workforce, workplace, the work itself, and how work gets done are all radically shifting. And we’re not done yet.
Talent management today is less about managing talent, and more about creating the conditions for both organization and talent to thrive.
🏋️♀️Deloitte emphasizes in their 2024 Global Human Capital Trends study an increasing importance on Human Sustainability… which requires organizations to focus less on how much people benefit their organization and more on how much their organization benefits people.
🤝Yet only 43% of workers say their organizations have left them better off than when they started.
How should you approach talent management and your human capital strategy amid these changing expectations?
Check out my #podcast episode with Srikant Chellappa, Co-founder and CEO of Engagedly Inc for more eye-opening tips to kickstart your journey towards a happier, healthier, and more productive workplace!
Don't miss out on valuable takeaways such as:
🤗If you want to thrive in the workforce of the future, you'd better start rethinking how you attract, #retain, and support your people.
🏆Talent management isn’t just about managing talent anymore. It's about creating an environment where both the organization and its people can truly thrive.
👍Leaders need to prepare for honest conversations with their employees. People want to be recognized as individuals with their own work and life aspirations, not just another row in the spreadsheet.
🔑Employees want transparency, timely feedback, and a real sense of respect. Leaders need to be prepared for some straight talk.

🎧 I am so grateful to have game changers in my network who call things for what they are and share feedback and insights with a generosity and genuine appetite to help others grow.
My recent podcast chat with Michelle Redfern was just that.
Below are some of my key highlights, tune in to hear more. Unsurprisingly, we talked about a LOT, like...
💬 How variable leadership capability is.
💬 If HR is not at the table, people stuff gets dropped off Exec agenda, often.
💬 ‘Fun Police’ perceptions live on.
💬 HR is a catch-all phrase for lots of different functions and no one 'practitioner' can master or do it all.
💬 Networking, and talking about the value the people function brings. Across the company, industry and stakeholders. Who are your allies?
💬 HR has been under-invested in for a long time, yet Executive want HR to be more strategic. They wouldn't expect that of other functions they have cut budget for.
💬 Business, strategic and financial acumen is critical for leaders, and also for HR if they want credibility with Exec.
💬 HR needs to know how we make money/profit, who our customers are and how the people function helps the organisation to be successful (business and financial goals).
💬 We can’t be too busy to be strategic, network and get involved in the business. It’s critical for HR to make the time to be relevant.
💬 What’s the 'file' people have on you, in their head (from 10 years or roles ago…). Are you frozen in time?
.... and much much MORE!
Tune into this episode for practical things you can do to improve your brand and how your HR function is perceived in your organisation.

The more DMs I get from HR colleagues the more times I get to listen to this chat with Michelle Redfern. There is so much in this for HR teams that at times I am wondering how we covered all that ground!
But if you know me, or Michelle, you know we love to yarn. And Michelle shares her unfiltered feedback on what she hears about us when we're not in the room...
This episode is PACKED full of examples, insights and practical things you can do to improve your brand and perceptions of your people/HR function.
I would love to know what's resonating!
