Veterans Day is a time to thank those who are serving or have served and are still with us. Memorial Day is to reflect and remember those who lost their lives in service to their country. Get Outdoors with a Veteran - Invite a veteran or a military family to explore a national park; admission is free for all visitors on Veterans Day. This event consists of a mile run at the start, a total of 3.5 miles of swimming broken up by 3 stations where they complete 100 honor pushups and 22 pull ups, and a final mile run at the end to the World Trade Center.
