Computer Systems Technology at Pathways in Technology Early College High School in partnership with City Tech, CUNY lead to IBM hiring of Radcliffe Saddler Kiambu Gall and Gabriel Rosa in 2015 after they earned the free 2-year degree and completed a skills-based paid internship in 2014. They entered 9th grade in September 2011 with no academic screening and completed their 2-year degree with college remediation. This June 2024 we celebrate the 10th consecutive year of producing 2-Year CTE/STEM college graduates with The City University of New York City Tech, CUNY and IBM as our industry partner. The national average tenure of principals in their schools was four years as of 2016–17. This number masks considerable variation, with 35 percent of principals being at their school for less than two years, and only 11 percent of principals being at their school for 10 years or more. I am completing my 18th year as a principal with experiences in two high schools. High school accountability includes holding students, teachers, administrators, and the school itself accountable for student performance and outcomes.
