No landlord wants a vacancy to sit too long. One of the ways to reduce how long it sits is to get ahead on marketing efforts. If tenants provide more notice, landlords can start marketing the vacancy sooner. Keep in mind, this is the downside to offering month-to-month leasing options because it doesn't give you as much time to get the word out. Another way to help improve how quickly vacancies fill up is to improve your marketing efforts with high quality imagery and partnering with a trusted property manager.
