Our internship program was brilliantly kick-started by Siddhant Gupta and taken to new heights by Abhimanyu Gupta. Summer Sights: A Tale of My Summer Internship (16/30) 🏢 The most unexpected thing that happens to all of us during our SIPs🤝 In the past 9 months of my first year of my MBA, I have realized this fundamental human nature of making memories with people who accompany you in difficult situations. You ask any MBA graduate, and you will always get the same answer. "MBA Life was the BEST part of my entire academic journey."🛣️ This is solely because an MBA is the most difficult one; hence, spending time with your peers in that tough and challenging situation builds an entirely different connection of yours with all of them.🪄 The same can be applied to the shorter duration of your SIPs as well. Need help? Immediately ask the one sitting next to you, "What do you think?".🤔 Feeling worried? You have people around you who are equally worried, if not more.🫂 Let's face it: It becomes easy to sail through challenging situations if you have people facing the same next to you. Also, the peer-to-peer learning that we get to experience in these 2 months is one of a kind! At that lunch table, 7 people from 7 different domains talking about the stories of their particular project and their approach towards solving a problem equips you with immense experiential knowledge. 1. Different Approaches, Shared Goals.🎯 2. Collective Problem-Solving.🛠️ 3. Learning From Each Other's Strengths.💪 This peer-to-peer learning goes beyond business skills. Here is are 3 take trends of this generation I am seeing: 1) They are hard working, inquisitive and willing to step into unknown areas WHEN we are willing to give them the opportunity. 2) Unlike many, they prefer working in the office and being around people. Something to keep in mind as we consider our offices. 3) They are hungry for feedback and direction. They are willing to take the feedback and change their approach.
