Somethings stink and somethings really stink! The civil servant who brought down Boris Johnson with her ‘impartial’ report, is hired by Kier Starmer as his chief of staff. Her son gets elected as a Labour MP and he is given an advisory role within days of Labour being elected. She is an ex civil servant with left wing views who brought down a popular, if rather unorthodox, right wing Prime Minister and she now controls access to the left wing PM, and approves who gets appointed into what roles. When do we, the electorate get to elect civil servants? As opposed to jobs for life with gilt edged public sector salaries and pensions being handed out to political friends. Somethings are rotten at the core of UK politics. In the commercial world shareholders get to vote on who has what jobs at the helm in a company. When do the ‘electorate shareholders’ of UK Govt get a vote on senior civil servants who actually run the country? The UK Government is no better than the unelected bureaucrats in the EU which the UK electorate voted to get away from. When do we get to vote on the UK unelected bureaucrats? Whence we attempt to open the bonnet of the Labour Party machine to peek what they are really about, could we encounter values, based on the hidden doctrine of some of its more secretive and senior #MP’s, with #Marxism at the root; or could it be other forms of #communist doctrines hiding in the shadows of the party – based on the 19th century political belief of social unification, political, and economic theory concerned with the battle between the working class and the ownership class, favouring communism and socialism over the evils of capitalism -just a thought! Maybe the current Prime Minister is more a case of Harry Perkins, rather that #Kier #Starmer.

If a tea-seller, can become the prime minister of a nation, having the highest population, by virtue of merit, and hardwork, you too can do great things. Follow your path, one need not follow the crowd, or be a topper, keep working towards your goal that you have set. As an individual you can do a lot of great things, just have self-belief, patience, and perseverance, and you can make better things happen, than the toppers. Blindly following people, doing something just because somebody else is doing it, might lead one to loose their identity. One’s identity has to be one’s, and one should lead such a path, that they can distinguish themselves from the rest. An individual identity, that is contrastingly different from the crowd, is the need of hour.

The four countries of the United Kingdom have evolved to show a diversity in leadership that is very much worth watching. Three countries (England, Scotland, and now Wales) are led by non-white first ministers, while the fourth (Northern Ireland) is led by the second woman to hold the post in its history. #diversityinleadership #unitedkingdom #worldpolitics
