It's time for the #Hiring #Managers and #Talent #Acquisition (#hr)teams to rethink the old Interview process and move towards #behavioral #interviewing especially in the era of #remote and #hybird working where candidates can easily do moonlighting and multiple working without even telling the true but with Behavioral interviews will help you out to know the personality of the candidate which I believe is most important in today's #AI time. #hiringprocess #hr #thought #linkedin #share #hr #thoughts

Most managers are convinced that a larger candidate pipeline will solve their hiring challenges. But the real issue isn’t the size of your pool... The truth is, it’s all about sharpening how you define your hiring needs, assess potential candidates, and conduct effective interviews. If, like most managers, you dread how much time you will need to devote to hiring, it’s time to rethink your approach to hiring and prioritise quality over quantity. By refining how you define, assess, and interview candidates, you can create a more targeted, accurate, faster, and ultimately successful hiring process. Ex-Data Recruiter Partnering With Organisations To Become More Data Driven & Provide Sustainable, Scalable Solutions That Deliver Real Results
Is your company’s interview process hurting your bottom line? If you make candidates go through a million interviews, drag out the process and give 💩 feedback, guess what? They’ll talk. To their friends, their family, their coworkers etc. And not the way you’d want them to - bad hiring processes contribute to bad reputation- the data market talks 🤷♂️👀 Do the basics well: ✅ Make the interview process clear and succinct - tell candidates what to expect and please don’t drag it out. 🔸Don’t grill candidates in interviews either - make it a pleasant experience not an interrogation ✅ Get clear about what kind of candidate you actually want 🔸Don’t change goalposts at the last minute. ✅ Feedback, feedback, feedback 🔸 Give it at every stage of the process and within 24 hours of an interview It’s the little things that really add up. You know the best part about a streamlined process? Not only do you get the candidate you want - and get them quickly - but the people who aren’t successful still speak positively of your company because of the good experience they had 🤯 #interviewadvice #hiring #data #recruitment #technology

If you want to improve candidate a good place to start is within your interview process, but right at the very top of the process, before you’ve even started interviewing. Some things that can help with this: - Well trained interview team - Aligned interview team - Clear role description - Clarity on expectations - Role budgeted for A simple a quick way to help with this is by having a great kick-off call with the hiring manager and ensuring that the entire interview team is aware and ideally reviews the intake form. You will also notice increased time to hire, as your entire interview team is aligned. The one metric that all TA teams should be focussing on is Time to Alignment, but think of this broader than just the recruiter and hiring manager, this should also include the entire interview team. Having a well written and defined intake form and you are on course to improving your candidate experience. What are some of the best kick-off templates you have seen? I like following this framework: - Why - What - Who #talentacquisition #interviewing #candidateexperience #hrcommunity #hiringwell #gethired #recruitment #recruiting #tacommunity

Navigating the Interview Process The interview process is the gateway to finding your next star employee. Let's make it seamless and insightful! Making Interviews Meaningful: Beyond assessing skills, use interviews to understand a candidate's motivations, values, and potential cultural fit. Ask open-ended questions that allow candidates to showcase their problem-solving skills and share their unique perspectives. Take a cue from Google's interview process. They focus on behavioral questions, allowing candidates to demonstrate how they've handled specific situations in the past. This approach offers insights into a candidate's thought process and decision-making abilities. Case Study: Consider how Zappos revamped its interview process to prioritize cultural fit. By incorporating unconventional questions and group interviews, they ensured that every new hire embodied their core values, leading to a more cohesive and productive team. Actionable Tip: Provide a transparent and well-structured interview process timeline to keep candidates informed. Ensure they understand what to expect at each stage, creating a positive candidate experience even for those who may not receive an offer. Remember, every interview is an opportunity to learn and connect.
