Extending the lifecycle of End-of-Life Vehicles 🚗 Recycling vehicles is anything but a walk in the park. Vehicles are made of multiple materials, from plastic, aluminum, rubber, steel, and many more precious metals, adding complexity to the dismantling and recycling process. The good news is that the processes and technologies to turn scrap into value exist. Thanks to sensor-based sorting technologies, high-purity recyclable fractions can be recovered from a mixed material stream. Read our latest expert article in the Auto Recycling World Magazine to learn how technical advancements drive recycling in the automotive industry: https://lnkd.in/dp4_we8E #ELV #automotiverecycling #scraprecycling #greenaluminum #netzero #wasteintovalue

Encouraging sustainable practices in EMS Over half of the 9.2 billion tonnes of plastic manufactured since the 1950s has ended up as waste, contributing to the growing environmental crisis we face today. As plastic accounts for approximately 20% of components within electrical devices, manufacturers have a responsibility to improve their sustainability processes. So, how can the electronics manufacturing industry consciously sustain effective recycling practices – or even better, cut down on plastic entirely? It will be interesting to see how this eco and electronic #waste initiative works out. I think it’s a good idea for retailers both online or in shop to be forced to accept #electronicwaste as it will make them more responsible but 2026 is a long way away! It does assist in helping to reduce the huge mountain of waste. Just think of all those laser and inkjet printers based on a business model of selling units cheaply and charging a fortune for replacement parts like toners, drums etc. We need to create more products that can be repaired easily! https://lnkd.in/eY5W3AvS

Genuine Net Zero - sustainability champion/ helping big business get to net zero without buying carbon credits -Hemp In construction. #Project FREE house net zero housing #sustainability
Carbon inport tax An obvious Carbon tax like vat at source is what is needed to level up the playing field . This will make everyone think twice and may force us to further consider the circular economy . The money going into the carbon credit fund that allows the right organisations / people to be rewarded for doing good . Better still Start with Carbon tax duty on imports and uk goods with high carbon manufacturing practices So as not to scare of the voters with yet another tax.
