But this number seems to be large as compared to the number that were shown for #Hotstar during any matches . This was because #Hotstar used to show us concurrent viewers whereas #Jiocinema shows the cumulative viewers. The shift from concurrent to cumulative views by streaming platforms like JioCinema represents a strategic move in the digital content market. Here’s a breakdown of the advantages and how it helps advertisers: Advantages for Streaming Platforms: Broader Engagement Metrics: Cumulative views provide a more comprehensive measure of total viewer engagement. Market Positioning: By reporting larger cumulative numbers, platforms can showcase substantial viewership, potentially positioning themselves ahead of competitors.
