Twelve weeks ago, my team and I identified an opportunity for improvement that promised increased efficiency. However, as the year was drawing to a close, we found ourselves juggling multiple deliverables, and the prospect seemed akin to a mission impossible. Despite these challenges, we successfully closed strong through the under-listed strategic measures: Gap Identification: We meticulously pinpointed the areas requiring improvement. Strategic Planning: We developed a strategy to enhance efficiency without compromising our existing deliverables. Peer-to-Peer Mentoring: Active participation was fostered through peer-to-peer mentoring. Self-Assignments and Accountability: Each team member undertook specific assignments and held themselves accountable for their roles. Engine Room Creation: A dedicated coordination team, comprised of volunteers such as Adeniyi Ariyo, Ayobami Yekini, and Ada Achi, played a pivotal role. Special recognition goes to regional coordinators, support vendors, colleagues, and everyone involved. As a result, twelve weeks later, the impact transcended our region, evolving into a national success. I express sincere gratitude for the knowledge imparted and the growth witnessed within the team. Looking ahead, we eagerly anticipate implementing the knowledge gained. Confidently, I affirm that to go far, one needs the right circle to push them to achieve the seemingly unimaginable.
