"Worth" is far too nebulous to be sufficiently reliable: (1) At minimum, pay what we stipulate---our fee. (2) If, in the context of your specific work, our labor/presence exceeds that denomination, simply direct deposit the balance---make it right. (3) At minimum, if you have any qualms/questions, talk to us---negotiate!
Including Muslims & religious identity in diversity, equity, & inclusion efforts • Learning & development, consulting, & subject matter expertise • Unapologetically Muslim American (Shia), multiethnic ⚪️&🇮🇷 • Free 🇵🇸
If you hire any Black speakers or practitioners for Black History Month, YOU👏BETTER👏PAY👏THEM👏 Actually I take that back. If you hire Black speakers or practitioners EVER, you better pay them what they’re worth 🫵
