Today marks the first day of trading in Trill Impact’s portfolio company Cinclus Pharma on Nasdaq Stockholm. The listing is an important milestone that enables continued development of the company’s drug candidate linaprazan glurate, which aims to improve the medical outcomes for patients suffering from severe stomach acid-related disorders worldwide.   Nina Rawal, Partner at Trill Impact Advisory and Co-head of Trill Impact Ventures was present when the opening bell rang this morning.   “It is of course very exciting to see Cinclus Pharma being listed on Nasdaq Stockholm today. BGPartner advises Novo Holdings, EQT, OrbiMed and SR One on $100 mio Series C financing of Asceneuron SA Swiss biotech company Asceneuron SA successfully closed a $100 mio oversubscribed Series C financing round. The financing round was led by Novo Holdings with new investment from EQT Life Sciences - LSP Dementia Fund, OrbiMed and SR One Capital Management, alongside participation from existing investors Merck Serono S.p.A., Sofinnova Partners, GSK Equities Investments Limited and Johnson & Johnson Innovation – JJDC, Inc. The funds will be used to progress lead asset ASN51, an oral small molecule OGA inhibitor, into Phase 2 clinical development for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. BGPartner advised lead investor Novo Holdings as well as the investors EQT Life Sciences - LSP Dementia Fund, OrbiMed and SR One, on all Swiss legal matters and the negotiations of this Series C financing round. Bonum Therapeutics' John Mulligan, Ph.D. drops a gold nugget of wisdom in today's #BusinessOfBiotech for anyone who has to make executive decisions. In other words, that's just about everybody. When prioritizing tasks, you generally have three types. Low complexity/high value — these are rare. High complexity/low value — these are abundant. High complexity/high value — these are the Goldilocks tasks. I don't know about you, but I can get confused by those abundant high-complexity/low-value tasks. They're easy to spot but sneaky about hiding their payout value. I bet discerning the difference saves a ton of time and boosts productivity.
