REX DIRECT: Performance Marketing That ROArS! Quality Leads & Inbound Calls To Grow Your Consumer Facing Business

Scrolling through LinkedIn, you'll often find a sea of faces accompanying each post. There's a reason for it - photos are great for engagement.   But if you've noticed, my posts lean towards the text-heavy side, with a photo of me being a rare sight.   I've been advised to incorporate more photos to increase my reach. And while I will consider doing so when it's relevant, I don't want to make it a standard practice. Why? Because I strongly believe that in the professional world, what truly matters is the quality of your work, not your appearance.   Through my business journey, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse group of individuals. Never have I made any judgment based on their appearance. It's their work, their passion, their contributions, which have always resonated with me. I bring the same principle to my LinkedIn presence. While the face-to-face dynamic, expressions, and visual connection can be engaging, I prefer focusing on the words, the message, the essence of what's being shared. Appearance can sometimes distract and influence perception. By minimizing the focus on appearance, we level the playing field - with clients, partners, or within teams. The focus shifts to what's truly important - that which the person brings to the table.
