We are thrilled to announce that Rhino Ark Kenya Charitable Trust has taken a major step forward in its mission to protect and preserve the precious ecosystems of Mt. Kenya and the Aberdares by signing a grant agreement with The The Nature Conservancy totalling £61,000. This grant represents a significant milestone as Rhino Ark embarks on a journey to develop a groundbreaking carbon project in the iconic Mt. Kenya and Aberdare ecosystems in collaboration with the Kenya Forest Service, Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS), Mount Kenya Trust, and Rhino Ark. The primary objective of this grant is to pave the way towards securing long-term revenue streams, with a particular focus on the voluntary carbon markets. By harnessing the potential of these markets, Rhino Ark  aims to bolster their conservation efforts and make a lasting positive impact on the breathtaking landscapes and the incredible wildlife they support. Through this initiative, the stakeholders will work diligently to develop the initial project design and conduct comprehensive assessments of the technical and financial feasibility of the carbon project. The ultimate goal is to create a sustainable conservation model that supports the partners' vital objectives in the majestic Mt. Kenya and Aberdares regions. Rhino Ark UK extends our heartfelt gratitude to The Nature Conservancy for their invaluable support and belief in Rhino Ark's vision. This partnership marks a powerful alliance of like-minded organizations committed to safeguarding our planet's natural treasures for generations to come. Stay tuned for more updates as we embark on this incredible journey toward a greener, more sustainable future! 🌿🌍 #CarbonMarket #SustainableSolutions #CarbonProject #RhinoArkPartnerships #RhinoArk #ClimateAction
