Sanjoy’s extensive experience includes senior roles at Bell Labs, Wipro, Infosys, and Accenture, where he spearheaded global R&D efforts and launched successful technology initiatives. Rice Innovation is thrilled to announce the awardees of the second cycle of the One Small Step Grant. This funding is a crucial boost for two groundbreaking projects that are transitioning from lab to market. 🌟  LymphGuide – Led by Martha Fowler, this project is pioneering a customizable hydrogel platform combined with engineered cell therapy to treat and prevent lymphedema. 🌟  HEXAspec – Developed by Tianshu Zhai, HEXASpec focuses on next-gen chip packaging with innovative materials that enhance chip protection and heat dissipation. We’re incredibly proud of these teams and their potential to drive innovation forward. Opening this fall, the 10,000-square-foot space will accelerate the commercialization of new technologies, bridging the gap between university research and the world at large. The Rice Nexus will provide advanced prototyping tools, entrepreneurial support, and venture funding to grow and launch Rice startups, fostering partnerships across corporate, government, and community sectors.
