I can’t believe it’s Launch Day, such a special moment. So many new users started using, then day two came… Flatlined. Like a dead battery trying to be revived, at most you get small sparks here and there. I’ve been there and done that. Put my head done, built, and finally looked up when it was time to launch. You hear it all the time: fail fast, fail often. And I took it literally. The issue with this is we’re failing at too big a scale at too slow an interval. When I was in banking you had mid-year and end-of-year feedback. So twice a year you knew if you were failing or not. My first startup I increased the interval to once a quarter. Now I’ve shortened the feedback loop even more, I can sometimes fail 2-3 times in one day. Half of the feedback loop is speaking with clients and potential clients. The other half are other entrepreneurs who I can bounce ideas off, experiment with, and learn from their experiments. Because of that, I can be on the right path more often and not go too far in the wrong direction and have to do a ton of work to correct. This is why I’m building this new community for up and coming black entrepreneurs. To have an unfair advantage. In the next month, I will be running a shared focus sprint. Think of it like a course and lab. Learning new ways to grow paid users and experimenting. The goal after 3 weeks is to increase paid users. My goal is to grow this community during this focus sprint. Membership will be priced at $799/year. If you want to join this membership and take part in this sprint send me a message and I’ll give you half off for life. The question is… Do you trust me?

I am constantly inspired by the many amazing entrepreneurs who have chosen Amazon to help build their brands and make it easier than ever for customers to shop their products. This Black History Month – and all year long – we celebrate the Black-owned businesses selling in Amazon’s store. One of the ways that we help drive discoverability of Black-owned businesses is through the Buy Black storefront where customers can shop products and discover inspirational stories behind Black-owned brands. We also show a Black-Owned Business badge within the shopping experience so customers can easily identify and support Black-owned businesses. To learn more about how we’re partnering with Black entrepreneurs, meet the founders of Terminal B and Dungeon Forward, two of the many Black-owned businesses that sell in our store. Hear about their success first-hand and get a behind-the-scenes look into how these small businesses have led their teams and inspired their communities. https://lnkd.in/gCUeC6m6 #BlackHistoryMonth #Amazon #SellingPartners #SmallBusiness
