The person will need to do literature reviews, design experiments, conduct experiments, analyze the results, communicate the results in oral and verbal presentations, and write peer reviewed papers on the project. They will need to be skilled in a chemical, chemical engineering or related lab. The person will need to manage a lab safely and mentor students.
https://lnkd.in/gv2iREr4 The position involves teaching distance education courses in the area of bioproducts and the bioeconomy. The person will be expected to also manage a program that trains high school teachers to bring bioeconomy related activities to the classroom and then to collect and analyze survey data on the effectiveness of the activities. This position will require management of a team of faculty and graduate students to fulfill requirements of the sponsored program in bioproducts and bioenergy extension. The position will be responsible for managing training teams, coordinating appropriate pedagogical training using available campus resources, participating in course and program assessment, and ensuring best practices for effective online course instruction. The person will also be preparing progress reports to submit to the sponsor and peer reviewed publications. This is a one year project.
