I just read a social media post that debated how a resume that shows career transitions within a short time frame (i.e. change every 1-3 years) should be perceived. While I am not strong on an opinion, I will say this - I have learned a lot during my professional journey. One of the biggest lessons is that everybody's story (career path) is different. None are smooth, but each have a unique set of chapters written. While we try our best to write the best stories possible for ourselves, there are often elements that are outside of our control. What we CAN do is navigate the journey as best as we can, and hope that those who are reading (e.g. decision makers, hiring managers, etc.) will appreciate the main character's plotline enough to provide an opportunity.
