We are betting big on the combination of internal mobility and open talent. It is not an easy road but here is why we are on it. 🖥 Internal Mobility: The first step is knowing what skills you actually have in your tech team. By unlocking this you can then start the journey of skill matching to mentors, internal roles, short term gigs and stretch assignments. This can be aligned to career goals and PDP's. Effective internal mobility can improve retention. 🌏 Open Talent: We don't use the term freelance marketplace on purpose. Open talent can be full-time consultant on a bench, a side-hustler, a graduate, a retiree or a seasoned freelancer. What we have tried to do is break roles into a defined SOW that is completed on an fixed price or day rate then give the open talent the opportunity to put in a proposal of how they would do the work. Effective use of open talent can improve project success and unlock innovation. Its a powerful combination. #opentalent #internalmobility

Upcoming sales hiring alert 🚨 At Gigged.AI we have been busy building and experimenting. We now have three important elements to grow in a tough start-up market: 1️⃣ Two enterprise grade products with top ratings on G2 and Gartner Peer Insights. 2️⃣ A clear ICP in large enterprise with proof points and case studies. 3️⃣ A repeatable sales playbook using the challenger sale and MEDDICC methodologies . Over the next few months I will be focussing on building out our sales team (funding and customer growth dependent): 1️⃣ A proven Sales Leader who can drive our sales strategy. This is a player/manager role and will report to me. Experience in either HR Tech SaaS, Contract staffing or tech consultancy sales. 🔢 An Account Executive who can lead a vertical UK wide across both products. Through our thought leadership, events and network we have consistent high quality leads to be closed. You will need to be able to sell to CIO/CTO/CDO level. Another great Transform Meetup. GenAI is mentioned a lot but last night we heard real stories on governance, exec buy-in, budgets and use-cases. I always enjoy the audience participation and discussion. Shalini Goyal kicked us off with a fascinating talk on the profound impact of AI. I was then lucky to chair a hugely informative panel including Pedro Varela, Philippa C., Gareth McGuinness, David Thomson and Caroline McDowall. I could have let the discussion go on for a few hours. Thanks again to Aimee Mcpherson, Michael McGowan, Louise Hogg, Ryan Watson, Richard Ferguson and Brendan Scott for making it run so seamlessly as always. Gigged.AI x Forbes is one of my highlights of 2024. To be listed as an alternative platform to the giants that are Upwork, Fiverr and PeoplePerHour was a real honour as these were all mentioned in our initial business plan. The job market has seen so much volatility in last 2 years and unfortunately that is not stopping any time soon.
