As a tradition, took the AACR Comm & PR team out last night in Philly to recognize and thank them for their great work on our Annual Meeting 2024 with more than 240 journalists & cancer center PIOs registered, 3 press conferences, 6,000 + media placements, 28000+ X posts, 571 million impressions, 9 Cancer Today stories, 12 blogs, 45 video interviews, and a special session on Communicating Science to the Public with more than 300 attendeess, just to name a few accomplishments! Enjoyed celebrating the team's spectacular efforts. #Gratitude #TeamWork

You did an outstanding job on the AACR meeting. It was sensational and with your kind help I was able to post 23 stories on the meeting as it went along, finishing up on the last day of meeting. My stories can be found at BioQuick News (http://www.bioquicknews.com) and using the search term AACR 2024. Search will not work without the space between AACR and 2024. Where is the conference next year? This sounds like a good conference, and I’ve never been. I’m a science writer/editor with 20 yrs research experience who mainly edits manuscripts and large NIH grant proposals, but I also am an expert in plain language.
