Receiving a cancer diagnosis is difficult and receiving good care is critical, but a new progress report from the American Association for Cancer Research shows not everyone is receiving cancer care at the same level. Matthew B. Schabath, Ph.D Cancer Epidemiology Program Co-Leader and member of COEE’s Research Integration Committee is the ongoing effort to address these disparities that affect underserved and minoritized populations. Take the time to share and learn more to understand the disparities and how you can help advocate for change. Together, we can ensure everyone receives the excellent care they deserve.
