Gun violence inflicts physical, emotional, and financial pain on our communities. Waiting for actionable intelligence shouldn't be the norm for agencies dealing with firearms violence. Collaboration among communities, agencies, and tech companies is crucial to tackling this issue. To address this pressing matter, egos must be set aside. Leaders must actively drive the much-needed changes to outdated policies and procedures. They should be partners in progress, not obstacles. The people deserve the leadership they get either by their actions or inaction. That's why we see some protesting and others are protesting against the protest, this is a great indication that life is conflictual and its based on the survival of the fittest. It's worthy to note that You need power only when you want to do anything harmful otherwise love is capable of getting everything done. It's more Worthy to also note and note that the power of the people is stronger than the people in power, as no leader can opress the people without the help of the people. when a leader fails to address a problem, the problem becomes the leader and the leader becomes the problem. Dear current leaders, kindly note that with the way things are going, the leaders of tomorrow may not see tomorrow. Protest, but say NO to violence!!

Had a great chat with a policing Superintendent from "down under" today! As expected, we chatted about the importance of leadership in the profession. And (moreover), we both agree that; being in a people-leader role (among other considerations) is unequivocally about motivating & guiding all persons towards a common shared goal and vision. It is not about creating inequity or divide (whether real, perceived or otherwise). #leadership #police
