I never trust an interview process that stars with.... ✔ Send me a 3 minute video ✔ Fill out this 10+ page questionnaire ✔ Our process to hire takes 3 (OR MORE) months ✔ Complete a Marketing/Business/Sales Plan ✔ Provide your W-2 ✔ Take this Personality/Spelling/Math/Sudoku Test If an employer is interested in you based on your history, skills, accomplishments and talent, they'll talk to you first. All these other requirements just mean they don’t know what they want or who the hell they are looking for. #resumewriting #jobsearch #keepitsimple
Can they ask for your W-2?
I interviewed for a manager role at a non-profit. They asked me for a full presentation less than 24 hours before the interview. I did it, they were surprised I did it. It was an amazing in depth presentation. They ghosted me. Never again.
What's wrong with a personality test ruling out psychos and liars?
And could it also mean they're stealing your ideas?
Unless I am auditioning for a role in a Broadway show, 3 min video will be a NO. I agree on everything here expected sudoku, those are fun. I'd add 2048 because numbers relax me, I don't know what that says about me 🤷🏼♀️
I do love Sudoku though
The 3 minutes video is extremely weird, to me. Best I can do is a cute selfie. Take it or leave it! 😂
I just stopped in the middle of an application that had several questions requiring responses at a 300 word minimum each. One asked about a program that was not described anywhere in their website. WTAF?!
