We continue to use our cross-sector relationships and the scale of our portfolio to create development opportunities for both tenants and investors. Development completions totalled $3 billion in the last 12 months, and today, we’re pleased to announce the commencement of construction for Chifley South Tower to create Australia’s premier $3.8 billion precinct. Good article and an interesting perspective on the Denver market. Points I thought were particularly interesting - • Achieved rent down from $9.25 to $8.50 YOY (9% decrease) • Large occupiers currently have +/- 25 similar options to consider for lease • 7.3% vacancy rate across the metro • Occupancy costs along comparable to base lease rates 30-minutes away Even for larger, bulk distribution space this is some of the most softness I've heard in any market across the country. Interested to look into the potential dichotomy in Denver in the softness of large bulk distribution space vs. smaller infill Class B industrial.
