Blast from the past…. Blimey, I remember boards like this from my previous careers. For one organisation I worked for this is what we did, we spent our time filling this out with everyone wondering why we weren’t getting any time to do the job we were employed to do (trusted to do apparently). You can imagine the reaction of the operations director when explaining why our board was blank during a visit to the flagship site one day. Build teams you trust, give them the room to do what you employed them to do, inspect what you expect, of course, but just not four times a day. If you need to take that approach here’s my top tip: you recruited the wrong people. #thursdaythought
