As 2022 winds to a close, I've been thinking about how wild the last year has been. A year ago at this time I was working on trying to get through the data science boot camp program at Springboard . I had been working on that since the beginning of summer. I finished that and joined Apziva to be an AI resident. I still was wondering how this transition would work out. Imposter syndrome is a very real thing. I kept going through the never fun job search process and it eventually paid off. I'm so grateful for the support from my family and friends and the people I connected with along the journey that gave me encouragement. I just want to say for people who are trying to transition careers to #datascience or anything else, it can be done, just keep working at it, and for those who feel overwhelmed by the job search process, keep it up, take breaks for mental health when needed and you can get that one "yes" you need.

Yeah I still can't believe that I passed all those mock interviews THIS YEAR. It was like May/June but it seems like forever ago.

Your post was great to read. I’m struggling in my job search after finishing springboard. It’s good to know it can pay off.

Well said, Ron. Hopefully 2023 will be less of a roller coaster but still filled with professional accomplishments.
