KC Beck (Singer Songwriter) at KC Beck, Safety Dude, ASP/CHST,

As veterans continue to face challenges, a debate has arisen over whether the US Army and military leadership have done them wrong by naming Ft. Hood after General Cavazos instead of Roy Benavidez, the real-life Rambo who earned the honor. While Cavazos was a great general and symbolized Hispanic representation in the Army, Benavidez is the true embodiment of Army values. Despite being hispanic Benavidez overcame everything at a time it was unheard of, to be a Hispanic MSG in the US Army Special Forces, and earn the Medal of Honor What do you think? I said that the honor of being Ft. BENAVIDEZ should have gone to the now Ft. Liberty (Bragg). Not only because of the values of MSG. Benavides but because Bragg is all things SF!

I was surprised and disappointed ... I thought roy was a lock although Audie Murphy was my lead choice (honoring Texans).
