I couldn't agree more. Architects have a profound responsibility to shape our communities in ways that enrich lives and respect our planet and it's crucial for them to prioritize the long-term cultural, social, and environmental ramifications of their designs. Reading some comments to the original post it's clear that we still have a problem with the main idea of what the real role of an architect/designer is and it's disheartening that monetary gain still overtake these considerations in today's architectural landscape way too often. It's time we collectively advocate for a shift towards holistic design practices that prioritize impact over profit.
