Interesting shift. Pressure on low cash yields means Morgan Stanley will raise yield on cash in advisory accounts. But "only" to 2%, and "only" for accounts with $250k+? Anticipating that clients w/ smaller balances won't care as much? "Morgan Stanley will increase some cash yields to 2%"

Rotation incoming? Russell 2000 up 11% vs S&P 500 gain of 1.3% over the last week.
Small, but mighty.... Small Cap stocks showing some serious strength! The Russell 2000 Index has had a +3StDev move relative over the past 5 days. The only other two times this has occurred in the last 2 decades was coming off the 2008 lows & coming off the Covid lows. Additionally, more than 80% of the index is currently trading above the 20d moving average.

That's the best first 100 trading days of a year since 2021—and the best ever in an election year, according to Dow Jones Market Data. When the S&P 500 has climbed 10% or more through the first 100 trading days, the rest of the year it has averaged a gain of 8.6% and finished higher 85% of the time”
