We're proud to be a part of this project! The Monon South Trail spans 57 miles across southern Indiana, linking eight communities from Mitchell to the Clark/Floyd County border, featuring amenities that highlight local landmarks and connect to various regional attractions. Our S&ME team is providing geotechnical engineering (field investigation and lab testing), construction materials testing, inspection, and environmental services for a 20-mile stretch of the new pedestrian trail corridor. Happy National Intern Day! Today we are excited to recognize the outstanding talent and hard work of our twenty-two Spark interns. Hailing from fifteen different schools and working across fourteen of our office locations, our interns gain lots of field experience over the summer, from drilling borings to completing environmental site assessments, evaluating soils, concrete testing, and more.
