Ever wondered the role of an inclusion enthusiast/teacher? 💫An inclusion enthusiast/teacher ensures that children with special needs learn alongside their peers accessing quality education without any hindrances. 💫My work as an inclusion teacher is to provide the necessary support to all children. This is done by eliminating or reducing as much as possible barriers to learning. 💫Barriers could be social, emotional or physical in nature. Physical barriers include the physical environment and infrastructure. 💫These barriers also include the programs/activities/teaching and learning strategies. Why inclusion at school/ family and Community? ➡️Inclusion promotes a sense of belonging and acceptance amongst the children involved. ➡️ Children learn to appreciate each other and foster empathy. ➡️ Improves social skills amongst children especially those with special needs by providing opportunities for interaction and communication. ➡️ Inclusion allows children with special needs to develop their physical abilities as they enhance motor skills and coordination among others. ➡️Inclusion fosters the learning of problem solving skills, positive self image and the ability to appreciate differences. 💫Let us create inclusive environments both for children and adults in our families and society. #inclusive environments for all#
