We're all unique 🎨. That's something I see daily in my work, reminding me that having diverse opinions is a natural part of life's rich tapestry.
Yet, in every conversation, there's a chance to learn. When meeting candidates and clients, I've found that listening - truly listening - to their views provides invaluable insights. It's not just about agreeing; it's about understanding the 'why' behind each perspective.
Embracing these differences is at the heart of what we do at Newton Healthcare. Our values of Honesty, Courage, and Inclusion aren't just words; they're the pillars that support every interaction. This ethos empowers us to provide care with compassion and dedication because we respect each unique voice.
In the spirit of open dialogue, I'd love to hear your thoughts. What's your approach to differing opinions in the workplace?

1mo"When employees – especially managers – develop the skills to have uncomfortable conversations and give actionable feedback, it can lead to a virtuous cycle where all employees feel heard and valued, helping to alleviate the disillusionment felt by people across identities and experiences." 👏 YES. This. For stations licensed to universities, there's oftentimes additional layers of bureaucratic decorum and "nice" playing that stops tough conversations from happening. Disillusioned is a great way to describe the feeling.
