Last week, we celebrated our incredible staff at the 2024 Achievement Awards Ceremony at Streetwork Project.
Board members Harry Brigham and Mark C. Smith warmly welcomed and congratulated our awardees. Surrounded by loved ones and colleagues, we honored a group who truly go above and beyond every day. Their dedication and passion for supporting survivors is truly inspiring.
Get out of the heat, grab a cold drink, and take a trip down memory lane with me. Along the way we can talk about your accounting needs if you’d like 🙂

How did you celebrate this Memorial Day weekend? Traditions and Holiday’s often run hand-in-hand with giving people a reason to bond and connect over shared values, experiences, and stories.
Sharing family traditions with co-workers is a great way to break down the barrier to building relationships and learning more about each other! Here is a fun question to bring to your remote team and find out who has a knack for remembering quirky traditions or perhaps a keen sense of fashion 👡👗👒
Ask your team: Besides being able to wear white after Memorial Day what other fashionable tradition was started in the early 20th century?

What an incredible journey it has been!
From day one, we've embraced the spirit of unboring creativity, collaboration, and non-toxicity that defines us. Together, we've challenged conventions, brought bold ideas to life, and created unforgettable experiences that set us apart in the industry.
You know, at the core of everything we do is this commitment to never settle for the ordinary. That's what keeps us standing out in the industry – our refusal to be boring.
We're firm believers in the power of teamwork. It's not just about us; it's about bringing our clients along for the ride too. When we pool our diverse perspectives, skills, and talents, there's nothing we can't tackle. Collaboration is truly our secret sauce, and it's something we'll keep prioritising moving forward.
In an industry where negativity can sometimes overshadow the good stuff, we've made it our mission to create a workplace that's nothing short of uplifting. Every member of our Motley crew, past and present, has had a hand in shaping this culture of kindness, empathy, and mutual respect. And it's something we're damn proud of. It's what makes us who we are, and it's what sets us apart from the rest.
As we celebrate our 7th anniversary, we're filled with gratitude for everyone who has been a part of our journey so far. Your dedication, passion, and unwavering belief in our mission have been the driving force behind our success.
Here's to many more years of unboring creativity, collaborative innovation, and a non-toxic culture at Motley! ✨

Great session today completing TeamTeach day 1 with a lovely bunch of carers from Pebbles Care.
We spoke in depth about our ideal perfect homes and how we would want our own loved ones to be cared for.
We created a tree with all of those things we wanted within the home, but also looked at things (questionable snails and slugs) that could hinder our idealistic tree.
The idea is that if we can identify those factors that can damage our tree we can be proactive in creating plans to reduce the impact (pellets).
Some great examples such as:
- Building a pool of really reliable agency carers that we can use who have already built relationships with our young people reducing our young people’s anxiety around new people.
- Creating support plans to help carers with training and education.
- Have valuable team meetings to share successes to boost care teams morale and having openness and transparency to promote areas of development.
The more we can do this within our homes, the longer our homes will remain a safe haven for our young people and care teams.
Thank you all for your contribution, days like today really gives me hope for the happy futures of young people.
PINK out, it's a team and college thing. Our whole team supports and those not captured here were supporting us and our mission by being with our partners, students, covering the office and behind the camera. #cancerawareness#breastcancerawareness#teamwork#leadershipatalllevels
