In Matthew 6:6, Jesus says, "But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen." This emphasizes the intimacy of private prayer. Philippians 4:6-7 states, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." This verse highlights the peace that comes through prayer. Additionally, 1 Thessalonians 5:17 encourages us to "pray continually," emphasizing the importance of consistent prayer in our lives.

Then if people speak against you, they will be ashamed when they see what a good life you live because you belong to Christ. Knowing what we believe is important. Knowing why we believe what we believe is necessary to be an effective witness.

Taking Time to Listen I am grateful that God created us with heartfelt capacities to share differing opinions and still relate. Understanding produces peaceful responses which make communication possible. It is good that people express care and consideration for each other, as it's the only way that we are sustained as a culture. We ask ourselves, why sacrifice relationships for the sake of an opinion? They come and go, yet, with care and consideration new agreements can be heard, even the dreams they dare to share with each other. Dreams that speak of cooperation and respect. Then, we see that common ground, with a little give and take can create an environment where both sides agree. We’ve seen the opposite; we know what happens when peaceful understanding is absent. Chaos reigns. Don't you think the world has far too much of that right now?
